This Privacy Policy explains how Ceymer Studios LLC ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use Scapeboard — our landscaping business management platform — through our website, iOS app, and Android app (collectively, the "Service"). Ceymer Studios LLC is the data controller responsible for your information.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of information to provide and improve the Service:
Account Information
When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and authentication credentials. You may sign in using email and password, Google Sign-In, or Sign in with Apple. When you use Google or Apple sign-in, we receive basic profile information (name and email) from those providers to create and identify your account.
Business & Project Content
Scapeboard is a tool for managing a landscaping business, so we store the content you create, including:
- Project details, property addresses, and job records
- Photos you capture or upload of properties and job sites
- Client and customer information you enter
- Invoices, estimates, plant catalogs, inventory, and route plans
Location Information
With your permission, we collect your device's location to display your position on property maps, support property mapping, and assist with route planning. See Section 4 for details.
Payment Information
When you purchase a subscription, payment is processed by our payment partners. We do not collect or store your full credit card numbers. See Section 5.
Device & Usage Information
We may collect technical information such as device type, operating system version, network status, and basic diagnostic data to operate the app reliably and troubleshoot issues.
2. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and operate the Service and your account
- Store and sync your projects, photos, and business records
- Display maps and enable property mapping and routing
- Process subscriptions and manage entitlements
- Generate AI-assisted landscape design visualizations at your request
- Respond to your support requests and communicate with you about the Service
- Protect against fraud, abuse, and security threats
- Comply with legal obligations
3. Third-Party Services
We rely on trusted third-party providers to deliver the Service. Each processes data only as needed for its function:

4. Location Data
Scapeboard requests access to your device location to show your position on satellite property maps, to support measuring and mapping properties, and to assist with route planning. Location access is used only while you are using relevant features. You can grant or revoke location permission at any time in your device settings; revoking it may limit map and routing functionality.
5. Payments & Subscriptions
Scapeboard offers a free tier and a paid Pro subscription. Payments are handled by Stripe on the web and by Apple's App Store or Google Play for in-app purchases, with subscription status managed through RevenueCat. We receive confirmation of your purchase and subscription status, but we do not receive or store your full payment card details.
6. AI Design Features
Scapeboard includes AI-powered landscape design visualization. When you use these features, the photos and prompts you submit are sent to Google Gemini to generate design imagery. Only the content you choose to submit for a generation is processed. Do not submit content you are not authorized to share.
7. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only:
- With the third-party service providers listed above, to operate the Service
- When required by law, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and security
- In connection with a business transfer (e.g., merger or acquisition), subject to this policy
- With your consent or at your direction
8. Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. When you delete your account, we delete your associated personal data and content, except where retention is required for legal, accounting, or fraud-prevention purposes.
9. Data Security
We use industry-standard safeguards, including encryption in transit and access controls through Google Firebase infrastructure, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Your Rights & Choices
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can exercise these rights by contacting us at the email below or by using in-app controls. You may also control location and notification permissions through your device settings.
11. Account Deletion
You can delete your account directly within the app. Account deletion removes your personal data and project content from our active systems, subject to the limited exceptions described in Section 8. You may also request deletion by emailing us.
12. Children's Privacy
Scapeboard is intended for business use by adults and is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us so we can remove it.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
